Before I realise I've left the UK, I find myself in the U.S. Denver Colorado. Just 24 hours after I passed my motorcycle licence in the UK. My time in London was very well spent, very productive but I was almost at the point of over working, very ready for a new focus.
And so here I am, at Denver international arrivals to meet up with Jeremy Loops and join him for the second half of his U.S tour.
Alex is waiting at arrivals, I've never met this guy and have no idea what he even looks like! I 'met' Alex on Instagram, through his brand Wolf Hill. He is a leather-craftsman, hand making bespoke leather items in his home workshop, I wanted to meet Alex to learn about his products with a collaboration in mind, through this middle ground we became good friends, he's a really talented and cool guy.
I've been wanting to visit Colorado for years. Know for it's beautiful mountains, forests and rivers, it's heaven for any outdoorsy explorer. It's safe to say I wasn't disappointed. World class mountain sports in winter & summers filled with camping & climbing activities, add 300 days a of sunshine a year and you've got a recipe for happiness. However, it's the people of Colorado who really won my heart.
Some of you may know that I'm an ambassador for Topo Designs, a relatively new brand who are on a mission to create the best alpine backpacks, clothing & accessories. Topo are based in Denver Colorado. It was so good to finally meet some of the great humans behind the brand, people I knew I'd like, despite only meeting through email correspondence. My expectations were eclipsed by a warm reality of unrivalled hospitality, local guidance & fun times. I'm so proud to represent these great people and their ever growing brand. Thank you for the gifts :) Visit Topo Designs website.
Jeremy's Denver show was exceptionally well attended, the whole crowd were vibing! Thank you to all the Brownies who came along and said hi, you're all such beautiful humans, keep up the good work.
